Elaine M. Moyer


Ms. Moyer joined the firm in 2009.  She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duquesne University School of Law.

Ms. Moyer focuses her civil litigation practice on the defense of medical professionals in the Philadelphia area and surrounding region, and also has significant experience handling general liability defense matters.  She frequently handles depositions, preparation of expert witness testimony, preparing witnesses for trials and arbitrations, and has experience handling litigation including discovery, pleadings, briefs, pretrial motions, and trial preparation.  She volunteers as a child advocate and guardian ad litem for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project in Protection From Abuse matters, as well as criminal and dependency matters.  She also serves as an arbitrator for the Montgomery County Arbitration Program.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Montgomery Bar Association, and is an active participant with Women in the Law and the Young Lawyers Division.  She also enjoys participating in the Montgomery Bar Association’s Liberty & Law Program.


As an alumna of Duquesne University School of Law, Ms. Moyer serves as a mentor to prospective Law School candidates and students.  Periodically, she serves as a representative of Duquesne University School of Law at Pennsylvania Bar events in Eastern Pennsylvania. 

Ms. Moyer resides in Montgomery County with her husband and two sons.  She volunteers in her local township as a Pee Wee Soccer assistant coach.  She competes in distance running events, and enjoys following the many successful UNC athletic programs.
