Emmett E. McGowan

Emmett McGowan joined the firm in November of 2009. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, primarily medical and legal malpractice.
Prior to joining the firm, Emmett served a one year clerkship to the Hon. John T.J. Kelly of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Emmett graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of law in May, 2008, where he was a Dean’s list honors student. While in law school, he served as a staff member on the Political and Civil Rights Journal, and participated in Temple’s renowned Trial Advocacy programs. During his final year, Emmett volunteered as an intern with the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel, where he assisted primarily in Tax Court litigation.
In 2005, Emmett graduated cum laude from The Catholic University of America, where he majored in International Economics and Finance. While at Catholic, Emmett lettered three years on the varsity football team.
