Laura Capik McGuire

Laura Capik McGuire joined the firm in September of 2007. She focuses her practice on medical malpractice and legal malpractice defense.
Laura graduated from Widener University in 2002 with a degree in Biology and Environmental Science. While at Widener she was a member and captain of the cross-country, indoor and outdoor track teams. Laura also completed the Disney Marathon in January 2005. Subsequently, Laura earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and a Certificate in Health Law with Honors, from Widener University School of Law. While at Widener Law, she performed an Externship for Federal District Judge, Barclay Surrick. She also participated in Widener’s Study Abroad Program, spending a summer semester in Venice, Italy.
Prior to joining the firm, Laura served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William H. Platt, in the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas.
Laura is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
Laura resides with her husband in Norristown.
