Christina A. Schadler

Christina A. Schadler joined the firm in April of 2007.  She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, unemployment compensation and general liability defense.

Since 2008, Christina exclusively has developed and led the division of the firm that handles workers compensation claims.  Christina’s clients include multimillion dollar corporations with worker’ compensation claims that range from standard to complex.  Christina handles all aspects of the claims, from the filing of and responding to the initial petition to the attending of all court mandated appearances and depositions.  Christina has extensive experience litigating before numerous Workers’ Compensation Judges in the area, as well as arguing appeals before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board.

Additionally, Christina has worked closely with her corporate clients in limiting their exposure to liability related to workers’ compensation claims.  She has assisted her clients in implementing various corporate policies and procedures, in accordance with Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.   These policies and procedures address the limitation of clients’ exposure, as well as the eradication of fraudulent claims.  The policies and procedures have been instrumental as cost-saving measures and in the limitation of liability.

Christina is involved in several organizations that focus on issues surrounding Workers’ Compensation Law in Pennsylvania.  Specifically, Christina is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee and the Greater Philadelphia Executive Claims Council (GPECC).  This Council discusses recent developments and relevant case law in corporate liability, workers compensation and risk management.  Therefore, Christina remains on the forefront of industry standards and polices as they pertain to corporate liability in the area of workers’ compensations.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Christina is a 2004 graduate from Duquesne University School of Law.  Christina also attended Lehigh University, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Psychology and a concentration in Spanish.

Prior to joining the firm, Christina served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Steven T. O’Neill in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
