Mary Kate McGrath

Mary Kate McGrath practices in the area of professional liability defense. Her trial experience includes a defense verdict in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, after successfully defending a local hospital and physical therapist in a professional negligence claim.
Mary Kate graduated from Northwestern University in 1994, and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2001. Prior to pursuing the practice of law, Mary Kate performed on Broadway and in theaters across the country, receiving Barrymore nominations for performances at Philadelphia’s Arden Theater Company and Walnut Street Theater.
Mary Kate is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association, the American Society of Health Risk Management, the Philadelphia Area Society of Health Risk Management, the Risk and Insurance Management Society, and the Actors’ Equity Association.
Mary Kate met her husband, Brendan, in Killarney, Ireland. They live in Philadelphia, PA with their two sons. Mary Kate serves as a volunteer for Norwood Fontbonne Academy and Our Mother of Consolation church.
