Elizabeth Schmidt-Jerdon is an Associate Attorney at Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer. She currently practices professional and general liability defense. Elizabeth is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. In 2022, Elizabeth graduated from the Montgomery Bar Association’s Leadership Academy. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the firm in October 2018, Elizabeth clerked for two judges in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Most recently, Elizabeth clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey S. Saltz in the court’s civil division.

Elizabeth graduated from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the school’s moot court board. While at Kline Law, Elizabeth interned for the Honorable Richard P. Haaz in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas as well as the Law Division of the City of Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. As part of Kline Law’s Co-op Program, Elizabeth completed a semester-long co-op with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she first gained trial experience. Upon graduation, Elizabeth won the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievements in Experiential Education.

Elizabeth graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Elizabeth, her husband, William, and son, Henry, reside in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
