Sydney Kesselman is a new associate and recent graduate of Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law (class of 2025). At Drexel, Sydney served as a member of the Trial Team, where she was part of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Regional Championship team and a Semi-Finalist at the National Civil Rights Trial Competition. She was also recognized with the Best Opening Statement Award at St. John’s National Civil Rights Trial Competition. Her passion for advocacy has been further recognized through the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy from the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and multiple CALI Excellence Awards for top academic performance in trial and advocacy-related courses.
Sydney has previously clerked in civil litigation firms across Philadelphia, assisted the Pennsylvania SPCA in animal cruelty matters, and has served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mark A. Kearney of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Before law school Sydney graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech (2017) and earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University (2020). She practiced as a clinical social worker specializing in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. This background informs her empathetic and client-centered approach to the law.
Sydney now looks forward to concentrating in medical malpractice at Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer.
